I have a normal, 4-5 year old colour 14-inch bedroom TV (the Philips 14PT2666 to be exact - see http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/...964195-8940430
). It doesn't have any of this HDMI output stuff or anything.
I also have a 15-inch, flat, 1024x768 computer monitor - the Videoseven L15PS. Image here: http://www.miepkniep.nl/frontoffice/.../V7_L15PS.jpg.
Obviously, to get the most out of my PS3, I'd have to purchase a nice, big 1080p HD television. But I can't afford one. I've figured that a 720p image would be better than a 480i image, and I've heard that it's possible to connect my TV to my monitor or my PS3 straight to my monitor with just a cable. Could someone tell me how to do this, what cables I'd need, or even if I can do this?
Thanks, and sorry if this is in the wrong forum.
