Well i didnt see the exact model number you specified
( 845PE-ITE8712 ) These are the options i see for the chipset:
SY-P4l 845PE
SY-P4l 845PE ISA
SY-P4l 845PE Lite
SY-P4l 845PE V1.0
In order to be sure remove the side cover and look at the Mobo for a complete model number.Im guesing its the SY-P4l 845PE
but varify to make sure .Also there is a HardWare Monitor For your system Soyo HW Monitor This may help you determine what the Board Model Is and it may Also help you Flash your Bios
Ive never used SOYO but I no ASUS Utilities do .Flashing BIOS is very easy to do BUT you need to be 100% sure of what your doing .You can download the Manual and study up on it so your sure of the Procedures .

alright i downloaed the utility all it does is tell me the temp and voltage on stuff what do u do when u update ur bios, how is the procedure done?
