If you dont want to reformat you could at least get a utility program to clean out your regestry and all the otuer junk that builds up on your computer and fix broken shortcuts and run a scandisk and defragment your hard drive.Some good ones are norton systemworks or ultra wincleaner one click.Hope this helps
