I recently purchased 1GB memory chip. I checked everything to make sure it was compatible. When I installed it, everything worked great until my computer started restarting by itself. It didnt happen that frequently. Sometimes it wouldnt happen for hours, and sometimes it would happen 3X an hour. When I took it out, and replaced it with the old memory chip, everything worked fine, but slower. Any ideas what I could do, short of settling with what I got?
