Thanks alot for the info - now that I know some stuff I think I got the wrong one, even by just looking at the name! If you look at my card it says "lan" probably meaning a smaller chip b/c lan computers are sometimes smaller for mobility. My other problem is also - how do I find the FSB of a mobo - I found it of a cpu just not the mobo.

Also on this thread it was said I can clock a intel motherboard. What I got out of that was I can't overclock intel? or something? Is it possible I can overclock if i get that cpu that i plan on getting? or is my mobo stopping me from that. I am a little confused.

I think you'd get better performance with Corsair's PC3200XL Pro RAM with its 2-2-2-5 timings - they even outperformed Corsair's own PC4000 and 4200 RAM

and as for your Hard Drive's, I don't think Western Digital drives run on true SATA yet, I'd get Seagate
by true SATA I mean the drive is not running on ATA100 and 'adapting' to SATA like quite a lot of drives do, and I think WD drives are included
- that means they will only run at 100MB/S, and there is a possibility that the data can become corrupted during the changeover from ATA100 th SATA and vice versa
Seagate's true SATA drives will get you the whole 150MB/S

Do the mobo and cpu and ram all go w/each other nicely? And what do you guys think about the CD drive and the DVD drive? the diamond pro monitor I got seems like it's one of the best I could get but if someone could show me different that would be cool thanks.
