Default Computer keeps restarting

hey my computer just keeps restarting and never gets to the windows xp login screen...it jsut restarts over and over agian.....HELP!!!

i have an HP with XP home edition

Did you try a custom boot screen?

Try going into safe mode. This can be done by rapidly pressing f8 while booting. If this does not work, reset your computer on the windows loading screen

ive trying all the diifernt modes in F8 and done everything i could during startup...

Have you overclocked any part of your system?

Incidentally mine did something similar to this a while ago - i ended up replaceing the PSU, Mobo+CPU+Graphics Card (in that order) admittedly I fanced an upgrade anyway but this solved the problem.

I now have the old Mobo, CPU and graphics card setup with a few spares on my bed and it still only starts one in every 3 times.
