Default computer keeps rebooting at xp load screen

Alright so i go to turn my computer on and all of a sudden every time it gets to the xp boot screen it restarts, i checked everything. I thought it was the new ram i got so i put the old stick i had back in, still restarts at boot screen.

I've tried everything, loading optimal settings in bios, loading fail safe settings in bios.

also, to get my new ram to work i had to up the vdimm from 2.7 to 2.9 but ti didn't seem to affect antyhing else and when i put the old ram back it i made sure it was at 2.7

please help me

thanks,
ryan

p.s. the new ram i got is 2 sticks of corsair xms 2x256mb, both same revision....1.2, old is whats in my sig
