Computer doesnt boot anymore.

Hello, yesterday I was browsin the web, and suddenly my monitor shut down. The computer was still on, but wasnt processing anything it seemed like, and my monitor was blank. So I tried using a new monitor, still no luck. The problem is every time i turn on my computer, my monitor stays blank, and it doesn't make the beep sound anymore, and the fans are constantly moving. I tested out a spare PCI video card, same thing happend. I think my motherboard is broken, but am not exactly sure, i would like to know if this happend to anyone, and how you fixed this problem if you did.

Is your hdd showing activity?

How dirty is the inside of your computer?

Have you recently added any new software/hardware/updates?

hdd is fine yeah, no recent softwares/updates , recently cleaned the inside of my computer

oh now i cant even turn on my pc anymore, it just shut off when i tried turning it one again, i think its my power supply.

PSU is a possibility.

The only time I have ever had what you are having, happen....it was the processor. But that was because it overheated. I don't know if that is a possibility with yours.

In fact, it was a $400 lesson I'll never forget!

Eh, oh well.
