computer case fans

Hello
I was wondering which 12 inch case fan should i go for?
I have come up with the following makes avbailable to me in the UK(peopel in UK if you know of any other, please do let me know)

antec
coolermaster
quietPC
startech
thermaltake

also i was wondering what the function of a fan filter was? does it keep out the fur balls that accumulate in a computer case, also
how does it fit on a fan, will i face any problem fitting a fan filter onto a fan

wow, I wouldn't mind having a copple of 30cm fans, but im pretty sure those companies don't sell them.

if you mean fan guard, it screws onto the fan, a filter is on the case, I took mine out, to let out more light, but it gets a bit dusty in the case now. It helps stop dust getting into the case. I haven't seen one for a fan though, but it would screw on like a guard.

I assume you mean 120mm/12cm case man rather than 12".

It doesn't particularily matter, I'd go with something double ball bearing though that has a higher CFM rating.

Fan Filter just keeps dust and other particles from getting into your case and settling, attaching them is no problem.
