computer audio to tv

ello all, heres want i want to do.... ok i have a nice surround system on my computer and a nice TV without one

what I want to do is use my computers sound system through my tv so my dvds and games and what not have the surround sound

i have a SB audigy II

is there any possible way i can get this to work?

What your going to need is some kind of RCA. I have my comp going to my tv with sound and stuff. But your gonna have to have an RCA out on your tv and i dont even know if that is possible. Then it is going to have to go straight to the speaker. Or you can just strip the sound rca cable and plug them into your spkr if your spkr allows for that.

i do not understand what you want. are you saying you want to make the tv sound come from your computer speaker system or you want your computer sounds to come from your tv speakers?

in both cases you are defeating the purpose of surround sound. your TV does not have surround sound outputs. you could still output RCA from your TV to your computer sound system and it would definately sound better than your tv speakers.
