I can't seem to locate that board in stock anywhere. Also if there anything really wrong with the chaintech? On newegg it seems to get all positive reviews, except a few indicating that you need to upgrade the BIOS to overclock correctly, but I can upgrade that no problem. Would it be better to get a gigabyte or abit enough to spend the extra money?

cpu: k8 64 3000+ will be fine
mb: asus, msi, dfi, abit, gigabyte. They are all good. For overclock: msi, dfi, abit. (all the mb companies are from Taiwan)
PSU: definitely Zippy or Seasonic. (Those two are the best rating PSU on Taiwan's pc forum) zippy is a little bit louder.
