Question Compatibility Kingston X MSI

Hi there!
I´m about to buy a new KIngston HyperX PC2700(KHX2700/512) to boost mine MSI KT4 Ultra (MS 6590).

My mobo is v1.0 (KT400) and some guys are saying that they are having problems with this combination.

Help, please?

I'm not sure about your mobo but I had a bit of trouble getting the hyper x (3200 instead of 2700, but same difference) to work consistently using either the default setting or the Kingston websites recommeded settings. Once I tweaked the bios settings though from 2-3-2-6 (recommended) to 2-2-2-5 and uped the voltage to 2.65v I've had no problems. Games used to crash left and right or I would get a memory dump at boot but now it works great! I'm getting ram scores of well over 10,000 on PCmark 2002. My advice is that if you do plan on buying the hyper x be ready to tweak a bit. BUT...It is the best ram out there and fast as hell! the PCmark 2002 scores prove it!

My Specs:

P4 3.2Ghz
Asus P4C800 Deluxe
1Gig PC 3200 DDR RAM (Kingston Hyper-X)
VisonTek Geforce 4ti 4600 (waiting for NV40 to upgrade)
Sound Blaster Audigy 2
