Default Compaq armada 7400

My compaq this morning wont power on, no lights or anything when plugged in. Even the battery wont turn it on..

Is this a bad power supply? Or possibly just the cord went bad?

As you see in my nick Im not a computer genius..

Thanks for any help

Probably a bad power supply. You can check it with a voltmeter, but that will cost you about as much as a new power supply. Was there any loud noises or smoke prior to your computer not working?

If you are in the US, www.laptopking.com
give them a call and depending on model number, etc. They should be able to help you.
