Default CMOS battery

Is it okay to leave a CMOS battery out of a computer for 24 hours without hurting anything?

If the time in my system trey varies from the actual time for 10 to 15 minutes every day would the cause be the CMOS battery?

for how long u've bene using ur Mobo?

if u want to clear CMOS by pulling out battery, it will only work as if ur system hasnt got Power Supply at the same time.

battery only works to save the settings as if the mobo is completely out of power.
