Default Clock related BSOD

I had this nice little BSOD while playing warhammer online this morning.

I am running an overclock on my I-7 it has been rock solid stable for 6 months though.

Is there any chance this could not be processor related?

Use !analyze -v to get detailed debugging information.

BSOD error code ***STOP: 0x00000101

When you see this error message you need to raise your CPU VCore. Or, if it has been stable, you may need to clean your heatsink, fan and possibly replace the thermal paste.

If your implying that it's an overheating issue, i don't think that's the case.

It never goes higher than mid 50's in games.

I don't think it's a heat issue. It's been awhile since I messed with the VCore. It's in bios overclock section. I think Slaymate can make this more clear.

I'm implying that the BSOD error code ***STOP: 0x00000101 means you need to increase your VCore

or that while you may not be overheating, your cooling setup might not be keeping your cpu quite as cool as it was. There's a fine line separating heat and voltage.

I keep a fairly detailed log of my temperatures and i haven't seen any increases really.

I installed several new pieces of hardware before this happened. I have disabled the hardware and I'm watching to see if it happens again.

Theres a very easy way to know if your overclock is causing a problem.

reset everything back to default, if the error still happens, it probably isn't related to the overclock.
