Default choosing a LCD display

what are some of the better quality lcd displays? i dont really know much about the current lcd technology. i dont really want to get a crt because of the space it takes up, but i want a good picture for dvds and such. plasmas are kind of too expensive for my budget...

you really can't say which one is the best. you have to get out there and start looking at the disply monitors at like best buy and stuff. then when you see something you like. u gotta go after it.

I have, and am very pleased with, one of the LG Flatron series, good clarity and brightness with no ghosting or dead pixels. Other good flat screens include the Samsung SyncMaster series and the iiyama LCD screens.

Heh, when it comes to expensive things like that, I'm all about Sony or Samsung, no matter what the price is =p
(Go Sony or Samsung!)
