hi ,
i just bought a AMD athlon Xp 2400+last month .The box is written AMD Xp 2400+ ,but my computer said that it is a XP 1800+
My mainboard is Asus A7N8X (FSB support untill 400MHZ).
In My Bios Setting the FSB is 100Mhz and the multipier is 15 x .
I try to change the FSB to 133 MHZ so that total speed is 2000MHZ .(but i didn't change the core voltage or other stuff coz i dont know about it ).But it is not stable !
I suspect that the dealer cheated me or get the wrong processor for me !
Pls tell me how can i check the real frequncy of the processor ( not with CPUZ) thanks !!!
