Changing cpu fan help.

i just got this cpu fan GIGABYTE Cooler-pro for my xp and i would like to know when i turn everything off after i change the cpu fan will i need to reinstall stuff or no. i know its a dumb question but im about to start so i need to know.

You'll have to reinstall your anti-virus because anti-virus programs are stored on the processor for some odd reason and they hate when you start rubbing stuff on the processor, it corrupts the data very easily.

Only thing you need to reinstall is new paste on the heatsink and that should be all.

well i know about the paste, so the only i have to reinstall is the anti-virus. nothing esle.

You probably won't even have to do the anti virus,I have never ever heard of any one having to reinstall stuff just cause you removed a heat sink
