anyways, since someone told me that adding a pci soundcard instead of a stock motherboard soundcard might make a diff in performance, i had an extra creative labs sound blaster live! sitting around from an old dell computer and i couldnt find drivers for it.. but sure enough as soon as i put it in a windows XP machine didnt even have to flinch twice before it found its drivers... soo .. i was trying to see a difference in score in 3dmark03 and i ran it, but all of a sudden after like .. a bunch of tests i got an error thats saying " FMOD error in FSOUND_SetVolume: An invalid parameter was passed to this function"
anyone have any idea why this error ? also, could it be that i now have 2 soundcards in the computer? i dont htink theyre is any way to uninstall the mobo card...
thnx for future input
