CD RW/ DVD combo can burn DVD or not?

my laptop specification is write as CD RW/ DVD combo

feel confuse with the name...

is there any way to find it out?

NOPE. Can play dvds and burn files onto CDs.

CANNOT burn to dvd.

you may be able to shrink a dvd and place it onto a cd-r
