Question CD Roms for Laptops!

I need to change out the dvd rom-cd burner in a Winbook si laptop. I want to go with a different brand other than the Quanta SDR-081 that came with it (because it is the second time it went out!) Does anyone have any suggestions as to which brand would be interchangeable for this laptop?

Just a stupid question to clarify. As long as the physical part fits all bus and power pin layouts are standard on laptop cd roms...Right?

ok, I looked around for about 5 minutes so there is probably a better answer... I found a company that specializes in replacement parts for the Winbook si and si2. They have one alternate drive listed: Toshiba SD-C2302. This is definately a proper replacement drive for your si. It is a DVD drive but not a burner. If you want more info I'd probably point you to the winbook website and request information on compatibility.
