CD Drives

Well, for some reason, i have a CD drive and a CDRW drive (i know i know, shut up) and im gonna buy a DVD Burner. Shall i get rid of the CD and CDRW drives all together?

Hello,

If you're getting a Combo DVD Burner with CD-Rewriter, then I would scrap the CD-R drive, or you could scrap the CD-RW drive instead of the CD-R drive, or both completely. Depends on what burning facilities you want. I would keep the fastest drive in.

If you're getting a DVD burner, not a combo, then keep your CD-RW drive in.

yeah wouldn't hurt to have a couple.

make sure you put the dvd as the master though.

Right.. having two is nice.. DVD on Master and everything will be fly.

Yes,all dvd burners can burn cd too.I have a sony dvd burner and it burns all formats of cd and dvds.

I'd say theres no real need for a DVD burner and CD burner since you already have a regular CD drive. Two drives are plenty.

meh, they got a LG DVD burner on sale for 64$ so i think im gonna get that and scrap both my old drives. free up some space.
