Default Cd Burner Wont Read Blanks

My DVD/CD/CDRW will read cd's and DVD's but when i put in a blank cd and try to burn something it says no disc found, try insterting a blank cd.
pelase help

Have you checked to see if there is a firmware upgrade for your DVD burner? The drive might need a firmware revision in order to work with a certain CD brand...

if its only a cd burner dont use blank dvds because it wont reconize them
