I have customer that I am about to sell a cash drawer too.
The cash drawer is a Goodson GC37: Heavy duty cash drawer
with 24 Volt Solenoid, 8 Coin/5 Note removable coin section drawer Insert, 2 Media slots, 3 position key lock, emergency key opening, modular connector, very smooth Ball Bearing Slide Rollers, available in Black.420mm(W) x 415mm(D) x 110mm(H), Choice Black or White
The guy runs a car yard, and he will be getting a copy of MYOB Accounting Plus V13 or MYOB PREMIER V7.5 (3 User) so he can make the sales and print invoices.
The problem is that MYOB Accounting Plus V13 or MYOB PREMIER V7.5 (3 User) does not have any internal cash drawer support so that the computer can automatically open the cash drawer as the end of sale.
And recommending a interventory management system like MYOB RETAIL MANAGER will work, but is an unnessary and pricey expense for a Car Dealership to have.
I need some sort of 3 party batch file so i can send a signal down to the cash drawer via the serial cable.
