Hi Everybody,
I am looking at different cases and when searching in newegg there is an option for internal 3.5" bay, External 3.5", and External 5.25 bay. Could someone just quickly run through an example of what one would put in each bay. I assume External means a bay that you could get to from the outside (CD Drive) but what confuses me is, 1)i though basicly only floppy drives were 3.5 and 2) why would you put a 3.5 Floppy drive where you can't get to it?

EDIT: OK, I read an article online and now understand the whole internal/external thing but if Hard Drives are 5.25", and there are no common components that are 3.5 and do not require physical access, WHY do they not put a category for internal 5.25!?

actually CD and DVD Roms r 5.25"

floppy drives and HDDs are 3.5"

External 5.25": CD/DVD Roms, Temperature Guages, Fan controllers

External 3.5": Floppy Drives, Card readers, zip drives

Internal 3.5": Hard drives
