I didn't really know where to post this. So it's going here...

I'm interested in getting a nice fancy mp3 player/cd r/cdrw player for one of my cars. Now i've never messed with any kind of mp3 player before, not even the little hand held gizmos. I've stuck with regular cd r's and when it comes to burning audio disks, i always burn regular audio disks (onto cd r).

My topic mostly revolves around the burning of an mp3 disk. Does an mp3 player just read data disks and play them straight from the disk? If i go and get this mp3 player for my car, i don't have to do anything out of the ordinary to play my mp3's do i? In other words, i've never used an mp3 player, so i have no frame of reference. Do i just burn a regular data disk and toss my mp3's on it (like i've done a million times to preserve and back up my mp3's) or is there any additional thing i will need to do to play them on my car radio?

i dont burn stuff, but from what iv heard, mp3 players will read .mp3's burned onto disk just like a data cd.
