Hi there,

first things first here's my specs:

Intel Core i7-3770k CPU 3.50GHz
8.00GB RAM
64-Bit OS Windows 8
ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series

I currently have a duel monitor setup using one HDMI slot and one DVI slot on the card. Although there is another DVI slot below the current one in use but when I connect it to my TV I don't get a picture or anything.

Could anyone help me? or suggest something better, easier than this as everytime I want to watch a movie on my TV from my PC I have to unplug one monitor and run a 5M HDMI cable to my TV, uplug my PS3 etc. and its getting annoying as I use my PC and watch movies often.

I bought this cable:

DVI-I connection cable, DVI - 3 x phono fono RCA: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics

Cheers

I'm using a Nvidia card but I have my tv also set up and in the control panel I turn the port on and off for the tv, might be a setting in the ATI setup to activate that plug for the tv

I've personally never had luck with those cables, id reccomend a dvi to hdmi adapter then use an hdmi cable to your tv, but youd also need to connect another cable for sound, unless you have a seperate speaker system youd be using
