Hello,

I'm comtemplating purchasing and adding another 512MB DDR SDRAM DIMM to my computer, totalling my system to 1GB. I multitask alot, and am quite the media and gaming user.

I know what RAM my system requires including all the technical specifications and everything. But i'm unsure about something...could someone please verify...?

I'm using EVEREST Home Edition to bring up the specs of my system memory, and here is the results:

Can someone please certify, is my current memory operating at 333Mhz? I understand that I have DDR, so although my current DIMM has a true speed of 166Mhz (give or take a half), does it mean it effectively runs at 333Mhz?

Also, can anyone explain what Module Width: 64 bit is...?

Oh, and before anyone mentions it, I know that 333Mhz is way old and slow, so please don't upset me :( ...but I'm still living in the era where the 66Mhz is still at arm's distance.

yes, it's current operating at ddr333, or 333mhz

get whatever is cheaper, ddr333 or 400, b/c if you get ddr400 ram, it'll just underclock itself to ddr333
