He was joking BTW...Its XtremeSystems...4GHz FX-57s are the norm there...

No, you are mistaken. The XT beats the the 7800GTX. The XL is SUSPOSED to beat the 7800GT, however the GT beats it in more than half the tests, and it's less expensive to boot. The XL disappoints me, but the XT kicks some serious ass. Mabey some hardcore overclocking could improve the XL, after all it is 90nm which is very good for overclocking and the RAM is rated to run at 1.6GHz.

those are overkill systems they'll last you a long time.
