Can someone tell me if this is compatable?

I am putting together my new computer and all I need to figure out now is the hard drive. I'm not sure if I need to buy a new hard drive or if my old one is compatable with my new Motherboard. Please help.

I know I will eventually buy a new hard drive even if the old one is compatable because I don't want a UATA anymore. But I would like to know if I can save myself some money right now and start building my computer.

1.) yes, the hard drive will work, except you DO realize that you're going to have to reinstall windows XP and reformat the whole HDD because it's a new mobo..right?
2.) why are you getting that motherboard? the DFI lanparty ultra-d (pci-e) or the msi m8n neo2 platinum (agp) are much better
