Default Can I add mhz with out replacing the processor?

I dont think that I could upgrade my processor (old laptop) but is there any other way I give my laptop more mhz?

You can overclock your processor

-Your bios on a non custom made laptop would most likely not let you
-Your laptop would get even hotter
