Cable modems

Hi,

I'm looking to purchase a cable modem to be used with a broadband service. The company I'm going through allows a few different models made by different companies. I've narrowed it down to a few different ones and am wondering which of these cable modems, if any, are superior to the others:

--Linksys BEFCMU10 EtherFast Cable Modem
--Toshiba PCX1100U High Speed Cable Modem
--Motorola Surfboard SB5100 Cable Modem
--D-Link DCM-201 USB-Ethernet Cable Modem

If anyone has any experiences with any of them (good or bad) please let me know. I'm really nit-picky I guess so any advice on this is appreciated.

i like motorolla, i currently use an sb4100 that the company lent to us its blazin fast

I have a motorola SB5100 cable modem and it is awsome !!!!!!!!

same with me i have the sb5100 with a linksys bersr41 router and a linksys wireless router (for my sister) for her laptop hooked up to that. So this little modem does a crap load of work lol

I use the SB5100. Works good with high speeds if 3.9 mbs is high.

I had the SB4100 originally then upgraded to the 5100, it's great.

Go with it, and you won't regret it.

I use it with a Linksys BEFW11 Wireless Router w/ 4-Port Switch and I love it.

I have the SB5100 and never had any touble with it.
Seems like a common (and good) choice!
