Default Buying Open Box and Recertified Items from Newegg

I'm looking to get a new video card, am on a bit of a budget. I know what I want, but I want to save some money, because I need to purchase some new RAM as well. So, do any of you have experiences buying these items from Newegg?

No, but I'm sure newegg makes sure that the open box and recertified items, are working before they put it up.

I don't think they do. But I am not too worried about buying recertified, they have a 7 day refund and 1 year replacement policy on them. I'm going to get a 7800... I seriously need it ><
