Further along the lines of what n_derr said, here are some things you can do to speed up your computer:

-- Delete all temp files (c:\windows\temp\*.tmp)

-- Delete temporary internet files (c:\windows\temporary internet files\*.*)

-- If you use I.E., click on Tools, Internet Options, Delete Files, select "delete all off-line content", click OK

-- Click on Start, Programs, Accessories, Systems Tools, Disk Cleanup

-- Download Diskeeper and defragment your computer

-- Download AdAware, check for updates, run it and remove whatever it finds

Sorry about that, it just looked that way and i was wrong. The only time I've ever seen a program that looked at the XP CD-Key was in conjunction with a program that generated new CD keys and changed them. That's probably why nobody would answer that question. Glad that somebody was able to help you out with it anyway.
