The Gamer Ultra 6000 looks good , add another stick of ram and maybe upgrade the video .I went a step further configured it with 939 pin CPU socket and Motherboard.1024 mb corsair XMS Pro memory , ATI 9800 Pro .The system only comes with formated hard drive so Windows XP Home loaded up will cost you $89.00 i ended up with $1159.00 final price plus you get a free game of Far Cry .

if you are not going to do the actual hands on building i would go to a site like www.hp.com and customize your own PC in order to control cost
