Default Buying a 22" Widescreen..

I'm currently looking at this page on Newegg:
Newegg.com - Computer Hardware,Monitors,LCD Monitors,22",

I'm considering buying the Acer 22"
Newegg.com - Acer X223Wbd Black 22" 5ms Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 2500:1 - LCD Monitors

It has a lot of reviews, most are good, but does anyone here have an Acer or even this one I linked. What's the quality like for these things, especially for the $170 price tag.

I wish I could go for a 24" widescreen, but that is way out of my price range.

Thanks

- Edit -

Also, are DVI and HDMI basically the same quality, just DVI can't do sound?

i have that same 22" in my office, its a fine monitor. i have an acer x243w for my gaming rig. i love them both. the 22" i have had almost 1.5 years and no problem, the 24" i have had almost a year and love it.

I've read that some people were having backlight bleeding issues...

Do you notice any of that in your 22 Acer?

Also, if you don't mind.... what are the height and length dimension of the actual screen? I just want to compare it to my regular 19"

I may dual-screen and I don't really want one to be too much smaller in vertical size than the other.

Thanks again!

nope no bleeding or any other kinds of problems. no problems AT ALL.
as far as the dimensions of the 22" i'll have to get those for ya tomorrow, its in my office, not in my house. but, i can assure you...it is substantially bigger than your 19".

Thanks a bunch, I'd really appreciate that.

I get paid this Thursday, so hopefully I'll be ordering this soon.

I know it's a little late, but +1 to the Acer you picked out.
