Building pc from scratch

hi guys,

I decided to build my own pc and bought pentium 4, 2.8 ghz today and I installed everyting but now the pc starts that is where I am stuck. there is a cd that came with the motherboard and I am not sure what is the next step I should take. If anyone has any experience to give me any ideas as to what should be done. I already have a hard drive working running windows xp and when i start up the computer it goes fine and just when it trys to load to windows it re boots and when I put the cd to load from there it goes to A: and I am not sure wat to do. Please help. thanks

it looks like an Operating System problem to me, try doing a repair-install on XP

if you dont feel comfortable doing the repair, just format and reinstall.
