doing a little research is free. in all seriousness look up reviews for stuff....theres tons of them out there. as for your "selections", i dont know where to begin. the case you are looking at is pretty expensive for not being anything special. second, the hdd you picked out only has 2mb buffer although seagate was a good choice. the mobo/cpu combo is a little pricey for a 3200+. you should go for maybe a bit less like a 3000+ or something and OC it a bit. if you really need the extra juice, which most likely you dont. i would shy away from this tiger direct place. newegg should have everything you need, and ifthey dont, try your local computer store. you really need to do some research of your own if you want to make a custom rig. it is not for the faint of heart.

Well ive been buying from Tigerdirect for years i bought my computer parts from them and built this computer that im on now... and i had no problems with it at all.. and it only cost me 499 to build... i just like Tigerdirect cause they have good prices.
and on Newegg there Memory seems to be pretty high... but your right i need to look around better, thanks.

idk, those prices you put up for some of those parts seems steep. i think youre just looking at the wrong "bargain" components. you can get a nice antec case for that same price, which will probably be quieter and cooler than that piece. not one of the huge towers, but antec has some nice smaller cases nowadays. also if you really want to upgrade from your current setup, your either going to have to wait for AMD to make a pci express board of buy a new LGA 775. because although your 5200 isnt super good, its not teribly bad and without spending large amounts of money on the aging AGP technology, it is hard to upgrade. just some meat to chew on for you.

naw dont want to upgrade my current system... im just trying to look up some good parts to build my next system which will be a gaming system.
