Default Building Computer

ok, i have 600US left to build a computer for someone. he doesnt play games, it is just for office use. i need everything execept the monitor.

in $600 i need everything, and it is an INTEL computer

Intel 2.8A/3.0E GHz socket 478 cpu.
1gig ram -- corsair value select
80gig hd -- seagate
dual layer dvdrw -- lite-on/nec
motherboard -- asus p4p800?
video card -- fx5700le
psu ?
case ?
10/100 ethernet modem
56k modem

please give any suggestions on wat i shud buy.

Besides getting two hard drives in RAID 1 for reliability, you got it covered.

Get him a cheap case and pick up a thermaltake td-420AD. Nice cheap solid as rocks power supply.

okay, and shud i get a p4 2.8a or a p4 3.0e? is ther anywhere i can find a p4 3.0e for less than around 150US?

ok, im buying a case. it has to be able to get shipped to Canada, so i cannot buy from newegg. It shud look professional. Budget : $80 including the PSU. Please give me some suggestions

doesn't the mobo have an onboard lan?

and if it's for office use, he can just use the onboard graphics

that way, you'll have more money for a more professional case

true, there is integrated lan, but i might upgrade the video card anyways.
