OKi. What i've got so far is..

Logitech® X-530 5.1---85$ Can.

Sound Card :

Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS OEM ---86$ Can

Viewsonic G90fb PerfectFlat Graphic Series 19" --$305 Can.

Total: 547.4 Can.

Well. In fact, i realized that i dont have to buy all of this right away. I can buy the sound card and speakers later on. I've got some spare speakers around. But if im building the comp then i'll need the sound card to listen wont i? Oki. So just subtract the amazing speakers.

449.65 Can

I've moved the budget back to 1700, so that leaves..

1,152.6 Canadian.

I can still build a good system with this right? Help would be greatly appreciated.

Oki. I've taken the liberty to go ahead an put together some parts..

Athlon 64+ 3200 RETAIL BOX $259 Socket 939

Corsair Value Select 1GB (2x512MB) DDR400 Kit (VS1GBKIT400) $160

BFG GeForce 6600GT OC 128MB GDDR3 w/ DVI, tv-out $294

Seagate 80.0GB 2MB cache OEM $78

Case: ---39.99

Now, since i dont know much about mobo's, here are some that i can get...

ABIT AV8 VIA K8T800+8237 w/ GB LAN, IEEE 1394 $159
ABIT AV8-3rd Eye VIA K8T800+8237 w/ GB LAN, IEEE 1394 $171
ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe Dual DDR 2x PCI-E, 16x SATA RAID, 2x GB Lan $240
ASUS A8V Deluxe VIA K8T800Pro w/ GB LAN, IEEE 1394 $157
ASUS A8V-E Deluxe $177
ASUS A8N-SLI Dual DDR 2x PCI-E, 16x SATA RAID, 2x GB Lan $217
Gigabyte GA-K8NF-9 nF4 4X MCPs PCI-E, Audio, GB LAN, SATA, IEEE 1394 $149
Gigabyte GA-K8NS 939 nF3 w/ Audio, GB LAN, SATA $121
Gigabyte GA-K8NS Ultra939 nF3 w/ Audio, LAN, IEEE 1394 $157
MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum nForce4 Ultra w/ PCI-E, Audio, GbLAN $247
MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum/SLI nForce4 Ultra SLI w/ Audio, GbLAN $247
MSI K8T Neo2-FIR VIA K8T800Pro w/ GB LAN, IEEE 1394, SATA RAID $137

What i need now is.....

1. A suggested mobo. Keep in mind that i will be buying my own Soundcard so i wont need a soundcard with the mobo

2. To check if all the above parts are compatible with one another. Especially is that vid card is actually any good. And other things that i will be missing, i know some like optical drive i already have, cooling fans i'll get after i finish the system, PSU i'll get later on. Right now i just need to see if th parts are compatible.

P.S.- Sorry for triple posting.

Im assuming u want PCI Express. for a mobo, get the DFI Lanparty nForce4 Ultra-D.

DOnt get the BFG 6600 GT, the eVGA is a much better option. Be sure to get the PCIE version.

About PSUs, be sure to get a brand name, not some generic crap

-AMD Athlon 64 3200+ Winchestor
-MSI K8N Neo4-F
-Sapphire Radeon X850 XT
-2x 1024 Corsair XMS Pro

Oki, but are all of the components compatible with one another? I dont wanna blow 1900 bucks only to find out that the parts cant operate.

And is that mobo u suggested from the list? And is it compatible with my parts?

And the videocard, i cant seem to find a eVGA card. I can only find a XFX GeForce 6600GT 128MB DDR3 $258 and its PCI-E. Any good? That or a PCI-E GEFORCE 6600GT DDR3 128MB 128BIT TV-OUT DVI PCI-E
