Umk, nobody's answering his skt 939 question; The socket is where the CPU connects to the mob. any Socket 939 is good; at it's the best they have right now. Umk, If you see venice, that's the best. Winchester is ok. and Newcastle is the worst. Venice, Winchester (winnie), and Newcastle are chip families and they describe different 'families' of chips that have different archture.

yea if you can basically follow the setup that diablogave you you could even get a lower CPU if you wanted but 3000+ is really well just wait about 2 months or so and walla a Better computer.
