Default Brothers need a vidya card for Guild Wars.

My brother is running an older Socket A Gateway, and his video card is just below the "bare minimal requirements."

It uses an AGP slot, but I've never dealt with AGP so I'm unsure of what to suggest. I assume 4x/8x is what I need?

How's this?

We're aiming for 128 meg minimal, and the lower the price the better. I figured this would do...

It should work for that game. The game needs 32MB of video memory minimum, and 64MB recommend. That MX4000 is double the recommended memory.

The computer is also meeting the recommended requirements

i would go up to 256 mb. even though games say they can run on 128, they are usually still choppy. 256 is nly an extra 15 bucks:

My brother is 15, so 15 bucks is quite a bit. I'll tell him what his options are tomorrow...

But basically, ANYTHING on newegg under the 4x/8x menu should be fine?

I think the 6200 would be a nice choice compared to the MX4000. I can run CS:S on my system no problem.
