Default broken usb drive

i posted a thread before about a broken usb flash drive.

i thought hey, lets give fixing it another try. with my newly aquired knowledge, i went to the event log, and found an error. it said

"The device, \Device\Harddisk1\D, has a bad block."

is there any way of fixing this?

Use scandisk on it to check for errors/recover bad sectors. If it doesn't work, I'd say you're hosed.
