I have a PNY Attache, and I had to download a driver to use it with my old computer (Win98). You might try downloading it to see if it works.http://www.pny.com/support/drivers/?prod=attache

If you can open it up without causing any damage, then there might be something on the circuit board inside.

thanks anyway peeps.

Still no luck.

When I install drivers from the czech page, it freezes up. then when I unplug the flash stick, it shows up for a brief second then disappears.

Guess ill have to find my network adapter. NOt really important, just thought I'd give myself a challenge on a Sunday morning.
