I'd get this one
it's from ATI, and they are the original makers of this card

From what I heard, buyin a Sapphire was FOR people who wanted to overclock their 9800 Pro. I heard that the regular ATIs had even WEAKER cooling.
Was everybody else incorrect?

If your planning on OC'ing, don't go for ASUS. I don't know about the 9800 but the 9600 may not be overclocked. Any of these cards cooling suck (ATI, Sapphire etc...) unless you go in their special edition which are a lot more. Just make sure your whole computer is well ventilated and you should have no problems. I have none with my ATI at 411/347.

There are also aftermarket coolers that should make OCing just fine.

If you have seen the cooling on my Sapphire 9800 Pro, you wouldn't want to overclock it
