I am experiencing winxp crashing, resulting in blue screens.

Various files noted on blue screens:
ntfs.sys
sisgrv.dll
tmxpflt.sys
tm_cfw.sys
win32k.sys

My monitor has been flickering since purchase of *edited* new PC - monitor not included, in August, and was advised to try another monitor - which at last I have now done so, with similar flickering.
From what I can find on this forum, I assume that this is likely to be a hardware (graphics card) problem?

I have also just installed a DSL modem, would this be causing crashes?

comments/advice pleaseÂ…Â….

I had alot of stability problems with SP2. Try to go back to SP1.
Also I see you use all of those anti spyware programs. Most of the people who send spyware to people sell those programs. If your afraid of getting spyware just use Mozilla Firefox( http:\\www.firefox.com ), 100% anti spyware internet browser. Those antispyware progs are clogging up your computer. Also the flickering might be a refresh rate problem. Go to start, contol panel, display, settings, advanced, Monitor refresh rate, expirement to see what works.

Thanx for help.
Am using Mozilla Firefox already.
Will try refresh rate.
Update video drivers - how?

You find the name of your video card, go to the manfactures website and download them. Uninstall your old ones first.
