Default BLUE FONT ? ? ?

Why does some of the directory font show up blue??

Hmm, that's odd. I just now noticed that the computer I use in Coputer App. I at my school has the same blue font he's talking about but my computer at home diplays all black-colored fonts for the file names.

it's not system/hidden files cause it shows up on my normal files.

He's right. Maybe it represents files that are still listed in your Recent Documents menu on your Start Menu?

when i get blue fonts, they are of files that haven't been used in a long time. but i would like to know the real reason, i just started noticing this on my new comp and have never seen it before on my two other comps, all have XP home.

Are you sure? I remember on the computer at school, seeing blue Word documents...
