Angry Bizarre problem with my Modem Router!!!

well, i got dsl 2 days ago, and when i Webcam with someone via MSN, my modem router just FREEZES, i then have to disconnect and reconnect the power...
and it does it a bit more when i do other things online...
what's wrong with it!?!?!?
it's a D-Link DSL-504
located in Australia, using Internode ADSL.

I have seen this happen with some of our modems when using certain kinds of upstream traffic.

I would try finding out what ports that particular application uses, and make sure they are all open on the router.

Also, you can try putting yourself in DMZ mode on the router. And see if it does it then. (Doing so will disable your firewall, and NAT for that computer, leaving you open on the internet.)
