Default Bios upgrade

Ok sorry for the nOOB question, but i keep hearing ppl talking about upgrading the bios software or something for the latest ram to work and stuff like that. how do you upgrade your bios software. Is it possible... Or are they refering to upgrading your BIOS Hardware -wise?

BIOS - =software wise

u r on ASus, ou'll find the Asus Live update Utility in the drivers CD

with that, you can easily update your BIOS wither On-line or downloading the BIOS image and using it. (which is more recommended).

but it is as well recommended, if your system isnt showing any problems, better not to update BIOS, as not everytime BIOS update brings stability in system.
