Default Bio's Update

I'm going to Flash my bio's because I keep getting this problem while during games my system will totally lock up, and I'm forced to physically hold the power button for 5 seconds.

Well after trying everything, latest software drivers (for video card), upgraded my cooling system in my tower for my video card, ect.

I've decided I might as well try to Flash my bios. I have an ASUS A7V8X-X (thats where I got the driver v. 1013)

My question is: I never have flashed my BIO's before, and just a little cautious doing it. the file saved itself as an ".awd" file. What are the proper steps to flashing my bio's?? --

You have to get the file from that site. That is the utility to update the BIOS. Look in your manual for complete instructions on how to flash the BIOS.
